Award from Lutheran Services in America
Rep. Peterson was honored to receive an award from Lutheran Services in America recognizing his faith-inspired public service. Lutheran Services in America represents over 300 health and human services organizations from across the country, and they work together on behalf of their neighbors on issues like health care, aging and disability, community development, and more.

Minnesota Congressional Hotdish Competition
On April 10, Minnesotans in the Senate and House gathered for a friendly cook-off at the 3rd Annual Minnesota Delegation Hotdish Competition. First place went to Rep. Walz but my hotdish finished in a close second.

Klobuchar, Franken, Peterson, Announce $2 Million Loan for New Assisted Living Facility in Mahnomen

U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken and Representative Collin Peterson today announced that Mahnomen Area Assisted Living Center, Inc. has received a $2,080,000 million loan to help fund the construction of a new assisted living center. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Program.

The minimal flooding we will experience this spring is due in large part to the dry weather we experienced through the fall, which left room for the moisture from the winter snow and spring rain. I believe that through modern, controlled tiling systems we can create the same situation Mother Nature did this past year.
