U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken and Representative Collin Peterson today announced that Mahnomen Area Assisted Living Center, Inc. has received a $2,080,000 million loan to help fund the construction of a new assisted living center. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Program.
The minimal flooding we will experience this spring is due in large part to the dry weather we experienced through the fall, which left room for the moisture from the winter snow and spring rain. I believe that through modern, controlled tiling systems we can create the same situation Mother Nature did this past year.
