Klobuchar, Franken, Peterson, Walz: Administration Issues Disaster Declaration for Communities Impacted by Devastating Flooding
Announcement comes after Minnesota’s entire congressional delegation urged the President to issue a Major Disaster Declaration to assist communities that are working hard to recover from significant flood damage.
Klobuchar, Franken, Peterson, Walz: Disaster Loans Available for Small Businesses and Other Organizations Affected by Flooding in Rock, Murray, Nobles, and Pipestone Counties
Last week, the USDA Farm Service Agency designated these counties as a natural disaster area, making farmers and ranchers eligible for emergency loans to help recover and rebuild. The Economic Injury Disaster Loans are available to small businesses and other organizations that suffered financial losses as a result of the heavy precipitation and flooding.

Klobuchar, Franken, Peterson, Walz Announce USDA Disaster Declaration for Rock and Adjacent Counties, Allowing Them to Be Considered for Emergency Assistance
The USDA’s Farm Service Agency has designated Rock County as a primary natural disaster area and Murray, Nobles and Pipestone Counties as contiguous disaster areas, making farmers and ranchers in those counties eligible to be considered for emergency loans to help recover and rebuild from the extensive damage caused by heavy precipitation and flooding.
