Peterson Nominates 12 Students To Military Academies

(Detroit Lakes, Minn) - Congressman Collin C. Peterson (D-7^th District) is pleased to announce that he has nominated 12 Seventh District students as candidates for appointment to the military academies.

“We are fortunate to have such a fine selection of nominees vying for appointments to our military academies,” Peterson said. “These students are an example of the excellent schools and great parents we have in this area.”

The following are those who have been recommended for nomination to the academies:

• Ian Bertram of Ashby, Air Force Academy
• Jake Johnson of Audubon, Air Force Academy
• Nathan Parker of Bemidji, Air Force Academy and Naval Academy
• Mitch Webb of Bemidji, Air Force Academy
• Caleb Stomberg of East Grand Forks, West Point and Naval Academy
• Charles Wicklund of Fergus Falls, Air Force Academy
• Allison Holmes of Middle River, West Point
• Amber Retslaff of Morris, West Point
• Ross Miller of Roseau, Air Force Academy and West Point 
• William Farmer of St. Cloud, Air Force Academy
• Christina Hoffman of St. Cloud, Air Force Academy
• Joshua Preusser of St. Cloud, Air Force Academy
