Peterson
announces additional disaster assistance
(WASHINGTON, DC) – Congressman Collin
Peterson (MN-7) announced that the following Minnesota counties have been
approved for additional federal disaster assistance:
Public
Assistance (PA) for Becker, Beltrami, Clay, Pennington and
Polk counties;
Public
Assistance (PA) and Individual Assistance (IA) for Roseau, Koochiching, Lake of
the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman and Red Lake counties;
Individual
Assistance (IA) for Kittson County.
“Even
though this is good news, I want to stress the importance of continuing to
report all damage assessment information. There’s
more damage out there, and there are things that can be done to help, but FEMA
won’t know about it unless we all report it.”
