Montevideo ecognized in Congress for their “All-America City” Award

(Washington, DC) - Congressman Collin Peterson (D-Minn) and other Members of Congress today supported a resolution honoring Montevideo and nine other communities in the United States selected to receive the 2004 All-America City Award.

“Montevideo residents should be proud of their community, and proud of the efforts made by local residents, business owners and city officials who took part in making this recognition possible,” Peterson said. “An “All-America City” designation will be a great benefit to your community for years to come.”
