Roseau awarded $1.9 million to upgrade facilities

(WASHINGTON, DC) - As part of their rebuilding efforts, U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson announced that the U. S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration awarded the City of Roseau $1.9 million for upgrades to the existing storm water system and repair and replacement for sanitary sewer lines.

“As the city continues its recovery process, this grant is just the kind of shot in the arm they need to keep going,” Peterson said. “Mayor Pelowski, Todd Peterson and all the others have been great advocates for the city. They deserve thanks for their work to keep Roseau’s recovery on the front burner in the state and federal government.”
