Crookston Airport Receives FAA Grant

(WASHINGTON, DC) - U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson announced that the Crookston Municipal Airport-Kirkwood Field, has been awarded $217,766 from the Federal Aviation Administration to rehabilitate the access road and the parking lot.

“Airports are so important to the transportation infrastructure in communities like Crookston,” Peterson said. “This funding is critical to helping the city maintain and improve this facility.”

According to a release by the FAA, rehabilitation of the road and parking lot at the Crookston airport is necessary to preserving the useful life of the pavements.
