Peterson to hold agriculture listening session Oct. 19 in Thief River Falls
House Ag Committee Chairman Collin Peterson has scheduled a listening session in Thief River Falls on Saturday, Oct. 19 to hear from farmers about the conditions they are facing this harvest season. The impact of this year’s weather on producers has been severe. An October snowstorm was the latest challenge for producers, following a late, wet spring and a wetter than average summer. Peterson wants to gather information about harvest and yield conditions.
The listening session will be held in room 201 at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls at 10 a.m. Parking is available in the West parking lot.
