U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken and Representative Collin Peterson today announced that Mahnomen Area Assisted Living Center, Inc. has received a $2,080,000 million loan to help fund the construction of a new assisted living center. Henderson Fire and Rescue awarded $600,000 grant for Sibley County radio project

The grant will be used to purchase communications equipment for emergency responders throughout Sibley County, including law enforcement, hospitals and public works departments, according to Tom Phillips, who has worked on the project since 2007.
